Beautifully little 19th Century P&O Mustard Pot and Spoon.

19th Century P&O Mustard Pot and Spoon

Another early piece of P & O lines on-board silverware. This 19th century mustard pot featured the early “Rising Sun” P&O logo on the lid. The blue glass liner is intact with no chips or cracks. The pot is silver plated and marked Mappin & Webb Ltd – Mappin Plate London & Sheffield 03/27 10LP on the base. Very nice and important early piece of the Peninsular and Orient Line history. Sold complete with period spoon.

Lovely patina, great condition with signs of use, lid operates smoothly and liner fits snug.

Nice collectors piece
