Cunard QE2 Premier World Cruise 1975 unique plaque

Cunard QE2 Premier World Cruise 1975 unique perspex plaque

Unique and rare opportunity to purchase this one off QE2 World Cruise plaque from the Premier World Cruise of the Cunard Flagship Queen Elizabeth 2 in 1975.

This plaque was made for and displayed in the 2 deck Midships lobby of the QE2 and was probably illuminated.

The perspex plaque measures 4′ (122cm) length and 2′ (61cm) high 4mm thickness, oval in shape.

The plaque depicts the route the QE2 took in 1975 departing from Southampton stopping briefly in Cherbourg then onto New York to pick up more passengers before departing for Port Everglades then onto various ports around the globe, returning 3 months later, this historic voyage rebooted Cunard’s return to the world stage.

The plaque is undamaged with no cracks or splits to the plastic but does have a few light scratches which with care may be polished out.

A rare opportunity to own a bit of modern Cunard History.
