Used but in excellent condition this 1:32nd scale model of the WW2 Steam Tug “Lady Wooes” requires a few parts to make her sea worthy, otherwise this model would make a lovely display. (Stand included).
Perhaps the most elegant steam tug ever, was the statement made by one journalist whilst reporting on the LADY WOOES. As with the LADY JAN, the LADY WOOES is based on the Empire Tugs built on the River Humber during the war years of 1940-45. This very powerful twin screw steam tug, with RUST coloured GRP plated & riveted hull, & practical deck layout, makes this model an ideal regatta and tug-towing boat.
The Lady Wooes, with it’s many fittings, winches, windlass, lifeboats & derricks, is a very ‘full’ & ‘busy’ looking craft, admired where ever ‘she’ goes.
