Description
This is a pretty old set in need of a bit of TLC. But nevertheless very desirable to the collector. I would describe this set as “play worn” and as collectors of Triang Minic and Meccano ships are aware the quality of metal available during wartime meant a lot of toys from this period have metal fatigue, but in the right hands ripe for restoration.
This set is original and complete.
Circa early 1940’s.
Set 51 complete (Famous Liners) rarely come up for sale and includes the inner box and part of the outer.
